Concept: By attaching a corde de lise onto the floor, utilize acrobatic vocabulary of dance pole, aerial rope, aerial tissu, and straps. By combing acrobatic content with automation technology to continuously change the tension and velocity of the rope a new aerial apparatus and a completely new acrobatic language was created.
In 2019 I won a grant from Cirque du Soleil's C:LAB to fully discover this unique apparatus.
2019 created new three woman Ginger Rope act for Cirque du Soleil's Grandiosa
2021 began a 10 month investigation into the apparatus as a porter/flyer duet. Full act video available upon request.
